Chapter 2

Ava sat at her dressing table, trying to decide which way to wear her hair. She had beautiful hair; dirty blonde hair that fell just below her shoulders in ringlets. She sighed, if she was having this much trouble today, what would she do on her wedding day? She decided to just leave it be. There was a quite knock on her door, it was Sophia. 'Your mother is here with guest" she told her whilst making the bed. 'A guest?' Ava asked, she thought all the guests were coming tomorrow. She ran out of the room and down to her mother and the guest.

Her mother, Amelia and the guest were out in the courtyard. Ava stood at the top of the stairs and studied the guest, she had never seen him before. He had dirty blonde hair, he was tanned, from the t-shirt he was wearing he looked muscular. Ava skipped down the steps and over to her mother. 'Hi mom...who's this?' she asked looking the man up and down. He smiled, 'Ava, this is Jon, Jon this is my beutiful daughter Ava,' Ava rolled her eyes at this, everyone always called her beautiful. She always wished she could meet her father to see who she looks like, because it certianly was not her mother. Her mother was beautiul but Ava didn't look a bit like her. Amelia had long brown wavy hair, chocolate brown eyes and full lips, whereas Ava had dirty blonde curly hair, baby blue eyes, full lips; which were very diffrent to her mothers and deffineatly a diffrent smile. The only thing Ava had inherited from her mother was her curly hair, she thought.

The three sat and chatted for an hour. 'So what do you do for a living?' Ava finally asked, 'I'm a singer in a band called Bon Jovi' he told her, Ava became very intersted when she heard he was a singer, she also was a singer. 'You know, Ava is a very good singer...deffineatly didn't get that from me' Amelia joked, Jon laughed. 'Give us a song then' Jon asked, he loved listening to other people sing,'I can't...I need some music' she told him honestly. Jon spotted a piano through a small window. Jon stood up and went inside to it, Amelia and Ava followed. 'What song do you want to sing?' Jon asked doing a scale. 'I don't want to make a fool of myself...' Ava said trying around to go out. But her mother stopped her, 'okay...okay, Thank You For The Music by Abba' She told him. A favorite of Jons to play, it was so happy and easy. Jon started to play.

'Im nothing special, in fact Im a bit of a bore
If I tell a joke, youve probably heard it before
But I have a talent, a wonderful thing
cause everyone listens when I start to sing
Im so grateful and proud
All I want is to sing it out loud
So I sayThank you for the music, the songs Im singing
Thanks for all the joy theyre bringingWho can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the musicFor giving it to me
Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk
She says I began to sing long before I could talk
And Ive often wondered, how did it all start?
Who found out that nothing can capture a heart
Like a melody can?
Well, whoever it was, Im a fan
So I say
Thank you for the music, the songs Im singing
Thanks for all the joy theyre bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to meIve been so lucky, I am the girl with golden hair
I wanna sing it out to everybody
What a joy, what a life, what a chance!
So I say
Thank you for the music, the songs Im singing
Thanks for all the joy theyre bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the musicFor giving it to me.'

Her voice was perfect, she could hit every high note and she could sing every low note. It reminded him alot of his own daughter's voice. 'Brava' Jon stood up and clapped.

Chapter 1

Jon strolled around humming to himself. He was on a Greek island of Santorini. He had not been here in twenty years. Here he met somebody, somebody special, somebody he loved and still did love, somebody who made him feel...amazing. In fact he was invited here to her daughters wedding, he couldn't wait to see her, to kiss her, to hold her again. He had waited far too long to come back. Jon's thoughts were interrupted by music and shouting. He looked around and saw he had walked into some body's party. He quickly turned around and walked out.

He strolled over to the docks and looked down at the clear blue water. He took off his shirt and pants, but left on his boxers, and jumped in. He stayed under the water for as long as he could, thinking of twenty years ago when he was here with Adara. He remembered after they had made love for the first time, when she told him what her name meant; beauty, virgin. He laughed, she definitely not a virgin after he was finished with her. He got up onto the decking and saw he had a few admirers. Jon gave them a breathtaking smile. One of the girls ran over and hugged him. Jon laughed then put his arms around her, she handed him a piece of paper and a pen. 'What's your name?' he asked her 'Sophia' she replied, Jon signed the piece of paper. She ran off to show her friends, they all looked over at him, then ran away excitedly.

Jon stood there, water dripping from his body, he soaked up the sun for a few minutes. He then looked for his clothes, they weren't there. He looked around and saw somebody standing looking at him, with his clothes in their hands.
